Yeah, I just got this image notification through the friends system as well. I'm glad because this is a really unique image. You don't often see a common nature scene like this in silhouette. It totally changes the mood of the photo. Great job.

I've always loved sillouttes. This one is really a step above the rest. The bird has a sense of mystery.

Light is that magical phenomenon that allows us to enjoy the sights of the physical world. This is a special photo for sure. I love the feeling a silhouette gives and being this is a little birdie..well, somehow, it sweetens it. I would love to do a canvas painting one day soon of this, would that be ok with you? It's just lovely!!

What a wonderfully delightful image Darryl! As you know, I am the great bird lover and this is no exception. The silhouette makes a powerful statement. I am amazed at the detail that still comes thru with the silhouetting especially in the branches. I think it is really cool and it looks even better on my desktop! I am downloading it to my favorite's folder on my hard drive so I can enjoy the sight and sound of this bird singing anytime I want! Thanks so much.......well done! :~)

good work. I'm very picky about what wallpaper I use. It has to be high quality, not too bright, interesting, and soft/low contrast... this is one of the good ones.

This is a wonderful image, Darryl. I really like the silhouettes of the bird (cardinal?) and the limb. The DOF sets it all off. Great work -
