First rate shot like usual. Unusually cool composition going on from the foreground all the way to the background. Perhaps more of the nearest mushroom could be in focus.

A really interesting shot. Such an unusual POV. Must have taken some maneuvering to get this one. Good job.

Wow. I bet you got down for this shot, didn't you Darryl! Quite a cool composition. This has a dreamy look too it..too bad you are late for the contest! I like the way the water looks and the mushrooms look like two thatched huts on the hillside. Very well done.....again!
Thanks for the visit to ~romantic evenings~. The camera is fun right now until we have a lover's quarrel and then you will have to straighten me out again! Seriously, your continued support of my work is very deeply appreciated! ;~)

A lovely capture of these very delicate looking mushrooms. They must be very tiny judjing by the moss growing around them. Quite magical :)

A very nice capture. I'd like to see a little more depth of field but it still makes a good wallpaper.

So well composed with beautiful lighting. I like the angle of this image. The mushrooms are so attractive with the sun hitting their tops. Super soft and gentle mood & colors. Wonderful to look at on this hot humid day! Thanks Darryl for this spot in the sun :*>

Great shot and composition. Wee little things aren't they.
The softness of the whole scene feels like a very lazy summer day to me. Even up so close.

Wow, what a macro captures. I like the capture of the greenry better than the mushroom.

Makes me think of the world unseen-a bugs world. Can you imagine a little bug tromping thru that "forest"? Great capture.

I haven't had dinner yet, lol.
Great shot! I am thinking about marinating in olive oil, and garlic. Then bbq'n it with some montreal steak spice and then coating it with mozza and some parmesean cheese!

I'm speechless. You're a brilliant artist, really. It looks magical... Those colours are so soft and enchanting, details are great, and the perspective as well. And that wonderful shade of blue combined with that beautiful green.. awww... A wonderful composition, truly.

It's a work of art, work of magic and another contribution to my favourites. Thank you for sharing this amazing image with all of us. It's so simple and yet brilliant. Only a true talent like yourself could make a perfection out of a simple scene. It looks like a dream, I really like it. :)

Have a nice day. :)

Once more Mayne I'm impressed by your work. The perspective of your shot here is magical. The whole frame is straight-out of a fairy world. The haze of the forest and the moisture of the moss make this a classic. Great work oh master!!!

Hi Darryl, a little late with my comment, but the sentiments are the same! Your work never ceases to amaze me! It is so consistently superior in quality and is always demonstrated with such artistic ablillities! These petite little mushrooms stand out in this image as charming little soldiers of the forest, just as though, they have every right to be there! Smiling! My impressional thoughts are a direct result of the photographer who placed them there! Given my imagination, isn't this what a good photo should do? Sincerely, Marilyn

With the foreground and background out of focus you really draw all the attention to the mushrooms, very nice a mystical feel to the image, well done.
