The "Münster" in Basel is a mixture of the romanic and gothic style, with many fascinating corners and a great view from the tower. I was lucky to get a shot from the side aisle without any tourists ;-)

I can't imagine how this photo could be more perfectly focused and exposed. It's one of the clearest, sharpest images I've ever seen, and makes me feel like I'm standing right there. It can be a good photography lesson for the rest of us. I hope you have more like this one!

WOW...what a great photo. I love the perspective, and you have captured all the details so well. I agree with 'gjwahl'...it does seem as though I am actually there...excellent post...Jacquie

this is superb Mia - I love the graduated arches and the colours of the walls and columns - focus is spot on - a very beautiful capture and into my favourites!

Wow...you were dealing with some very tough lighting with that light area off to the right and what I assume was this darker area that we're looking at in the middle and to the left. Superior photography here, and I see I have much to learn :)

Outstanding take. I love pics of churches and old buildings. Your capture of the hallway, with the different layers of marble and stone (even the individual striations in the surfaces) is great.

I too love pics of buildings and you have captured this hallway so beautifully. The marble to the left works so well with the stairway and lighted area. A truly fine photo. Thanks!

Just looking at this makes me feel like I am there, staring down the echoey cathedral with my own eyes. Such clarity, beautiful colours, absolutely wonderful. Amazing architecture.
