I would like to get some advice on this picture...I didnt manage to capture it as i wanted. Snakes head not in focus. How do you focus the head area of snake in photoshop.. These snakes used to fall out of the palm trees and give you a shock. They are poisonous but the cat had things under control here!

I'm betting on the cat! Maybe select the head and sharpen it with a filter.

I love the photo and its title. I'm a cat lover and that helps..lol..But I'm not a pro at the photo thing so I don't know how to help you with your problem, I'm just a fractalist. Good luck!

Interesting how the BODY of the Snake is Maqnificantly in focus.
It's all a "Depth of field" thing. Unfortunately,...even in Photoshop, there's no real way of bringing that head into "Focus". If the pict is "Out of Focus" in a certain area, that' just the way it's gonna be. You can "touch it up a bit", but....
It's just one of those "Can't do's". Look at the Great Focus on the snakes body.....then scroll up, and you'll see the Great focus on the cat...in the same plane. Sorry. I've wished for the "Magic Bullet" too, in shots like this. Just a "No can do".
Still, A Really Incredible Shot!! Personal opinion, a little Contrast, and a bit of Darken, would really Pop it out a bit.
