Crikey Michel, I can imagine the teacher standing out the front tapping his cane against leg while the children wish they were somewhere else. You certainly succeeded in conveying the atmosphere of a past era.

Good capture, agree with the above. it reminds me of the western music class i used to attend in Sri Lanka, & the very strict math teacher who threw bit of chalk at u if u were nodding off :~o . nice work :~)

Peeked at your gallery ... Didn't see an image I DIDN"T like ... but this one intrigued me. Thanks for bringing me right into this school of old through your excellent work. You composed this shot perfectly. Truly a charming image to view.

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.
Your gallery is very interesting Michel - this caught my eye, and made me think how grateful I am to live in our time. We all seem to think of a mean school master when we see these old images. Well composed image, and good clarity here. The details are wonderful, with the rough textured desks, the written works on the wall - goodness, there's so much to see! Thanks for taking me back in time :^>
