The perfect pose and very good backdrop to highlight your subject. Needs to be more in focus tho and a bit more brightness/contrast/colour to work to it's best IMO.

I think he is checking out the squirrels...but maybe he simply smells the goodies! I see his nostrils are flared, and he is looking more forward than towards you with your camera. Good clarity on this one, and the blue tones in the background complement the bird very nicely.

I really like the composition, and agree with RKG about the focus on the bird, but birds are often difficult to focus on, and I like it anyway.
