Beautiful composition and wonderful variation in shades of white. I find the deeply contrasted shadows a bit of a distraction. Maybe a softer light would have given more definition to the uppermost bracts. This flower has certainly come to mean Christmas and you've started us out nicely.
I like the composition you have here but since you ask for critique. The first thing that caught my eye was that white petals should be white and these are not white enough. I placed it in PS and checked the levels on it and the far right slider to lighten needed to be moved over to the left where it just meets the histogram. I did that and it made a lot of difference.Lovely image.
That still gives you plenty of time to find me a great big expensive present Mimi. :) If not..........friendship always works for me too. :) lol ((Hugs))

So very beautiful, Mimi! I have always favored the white poinsettias over the red ones... and I love the lighting on these, as well as the composition! Wonderful work! Saved.
