Hello Mimi....Beautifully executed water/landscape photography Mimi.....The majority of photos are put through some type of software to help to enhance the picture and their is nothing wrong with that...Only a few can nail it like this and display a picture straight from the camera....The light, shadows, reflections and the distant mountains make this picture a pleasure to view...In the deep shadows of the trees I can see a person and an animal....Is the person your dear husband?....Well done....All the very best to you Mimi............................Mick.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

It is a great scene that any lover of the outdoors would appreciate. The moose doesn't seem alarmed by any of the activity. At first I thought it was a camper with his horse but changed my mind after enlarging the photo.
No editing was needed Mimi.

A breathtaking view Mimi!!!! Really excellent too, but I think there's a little noise in the sky. Who's on the right hand side?

Such a lovely tranquil scene you've shared with us in this, Mimi. So Iovely that almost missed the moose! I love RMNP - I could sit by the Big Thompson all day long and be happy as a clam. Very well done -

A terrific shot, Mimi! Very well composed. The light is excellent, with great details in the shaded areas, as well. The moose is a nice surprise and is a wonderful addition to this idyllic scene. Well done!

A beautiful capture Mimi. A great composition and taken at a good time of day to get those nice clouds.

A wonderful scenic shot. Nice composition and great moody golden lighting. Thanks for sharing it so we can feel like we're there! Was it a golden hour? Wow, I have spotted a moose in the shadows. A gradual filter might have helped to catch more details in the shadows - it is very useful outdoors.
