This is an abandoned railroad trestle that we found when exploring the Olympic Peninsula area in the Pacific Northwest. It spanned a huge lake. It obviously was built to last. Comments/critiques are welcomed here. Enjoy ;~)
Great shot Mimi, like how the branches frame the image, the placement of the bridge is perfect, wonder what stories that bridge could tell... they certainly used to build things to last in the old days... very nice work
It still looks beautiful even though abandoned. Can you imagine the AHHS from the passengers when it used to pass through this beautiful place?. Wondeful job on this Mimi- love how the branches make the frame. 10+
I will enjoy this one Mimi...you have done well to get this into the natural frame of the tree branches...Beautiful colours of the trees and water....Lovely....Bob
Congratulations Mimi, Your natural border seems so wonderful. I wonder did you try to enter the abandoned railroad trestle? I would, lol. When did you take this shot?
Hi Mimi, this image is silently lovely, framed beautifully with the rich green trees bringing us to view the powder blue water, intriguing indeed! There is a certain mystique about an isolated trestle that always seem to ineterest us! While they are seldom seen readily, kind of tucked away, they stilll prompt in us a great deal of interest! Maybe climbing on them as kids, as I and many friends did, had it's influence!! Curiosity being the call to visit had a great deal to do with it too! I think I notice in the far background a beautifully snow covered mountain that rendered it's interest to the image!! It could be mistaken for clouds and blue sky! At any rate, it was your skillful photography that made it all happen for us!! Good job Mimi, always a good job! You do nice work! You don't post too often but when you do, we discover, it has been worth the wait! High marks from me! Sincerely, Marilyn
Nice capture Mimi, beautifully & naturally framed. It's always nice when nature obliges you I bet ! I love the peaceful & serene aspect to this image, it's one you can put up on your screen & just lose yourself into. Very nice !
Well you must have forgotten about it to not post its till now;-) This is a beauty! I love the way you have included the overhead branch as a frame for the image. It really lets me focus in on the bridge. Great capture in all respects:))
This is a gorgeous shot! It's wonderful that it has with-stood time and elements to become a beautiful photo like this! Great job with the angle and framing from those trees!
Please forgive me: I want to thank everyone who views and comments my images, I try but it is hard to write individual thank you at times. Please know you are appreciated!
