At first I thought that was Lizzie sitting behind the headlight Gibbs. I didn't think she looked like tin, tan maybe. Then I read the narrative and recalled what people called Henry's car and alas came to my senses. I like the FDR look even though it was before his time.
Love old cars like this and I am lucky to have seen these cars for real as the UK in summer as lots of vintage cars shows .Very nice effect you applied to this photo and very fitting for the contest Dough and some she this little beauty as too.
Great editing on this Doug. In 1957 my Dad owned one of these. It was called Rattle Trap and I hated it ! I think he paid fifteen pounds for it lol.Our neighbours had a brand new bright yellow Ford Zephyr by contrast. We should perhaps have held on on to it. This is a great subject for B/W and delighted to add it to the BWC. thank you
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
This Image GRABBED my EYE. That's Why I Stopped By. Thanks For Sharing ! Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience
