I came across this vineyard while out hunting for photo ops yesterday morning. The vines are bare and covered with early morning frost. I had the tripod out with a remote shutter release. Editing done with the new Aurora HDR software (Mac only) from Trey Ratcliff. As always, thanks for looking and leaving a comment.

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

That's a beautiful composition, Doug. I love that building, and the frost on everything. The vines, trees and sky all look fantastic, also. Excellent photography!

It is nice to see row after row of the vines and a person can imagine the taste of a good wine just looking at this beautiful photo.

I like ze vinter vine. Red or white, makes no difference.
The symmetry of the vineyard is much like a cemetery.
Well composed and presented Gibbs.

Very stark and bare, but still a very nice photo. Bet this is beautiful in this spring.

Doug, when viewing your image, it's almost inconceivable that the bare vines will eventually produce a good and tasteful wine.

Very good capture, my friend.

Nice shot with good overall clarity Doug. The sun shining on the building and the bare trees add to the beauty of the scene.

I like the muted tones and the mountains in the background. The standout element is the sun shining on the building. Really nice!

The bare vines emphasize even more the geometric rows. Our vines in NZ of course are bursting with growth just now.
You did a great job with this one, I can almost feel the cold of the frost. Hope it stays away when they begin to fruit again.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
