For my second photography assignment we had to do a landscape photo with either a receding line or a nature frame. This fence was perfectly placed and the shadow I think adds to it! Taken in Bismarck, ND. Tell me what you think!

Great shadows. Nice of them to appear in such a lovely setting. You captured them both excellently.

Yesterday's history. Tomorrow's a mystery. Today's a gift. That's why it's called the present.

Good capture! Nice country out there in the Dakotas...been all over South Dakota...sadly only place I've been in North Dakota is Fargo...Excellent image, however!

This is a strong image, with that beautiful fence drawing you into the picture, and the deep shadows... well done!

There is some kind of universally appealing beauty in this image. It has nothing to do with any popular notions. Just a very good and beautiful picture. Thanks and congratulations.

What a great photo!
I love the fence fading into the distance, and you are correct. The shadow completes the image!

I have a deep fondness of fences, and when there are shadows that lay across the snow like this, it makes for a most fantastic photo.I love how the shadows look blue. I grew up in Pierre//Ft Pierre S.D. and I miss those great winters, nice and dry with the sun shining..and the colours so crisp and clear. Thank you so much for this posting. I had not seen your photos before this...Verena
