Having read casechaser's statement it certainly puts a whole new spin on your photo. Very imaginative and creative image. The eye certainly draws you in to the photo.

The thing that goes the farthest, towards making life worthwhile, it costs the least and does the most, is just a pleasant smile.
Your hair laid out on a pillow, or blanket, or cushion, or whatever, adds a layer of "story" to your composition.
With just one eye looking back at me, and so much of your face protected out of frame, you appear both as the subject of the picture and as the viewer, looking back out on us looking in.
As if we are the subjects and you are reading our stories.
