Can't always give individual thanks but I am so appreciative of everyone's comments and input. I truly enjoy seeing all of your posts and am always happy to see you at My Gallery. Thanks, Anita
how lovely that we can see two seasons at once - all the Autumn photographs being posted and then up pops Mareitha with a wonderful Spring image. What an incredible colour the flowers are - very pretty and lovely framing! Patti

You call them purple ... to me they look blue ... unimportant ... to me they also look lovely and delicate and you've accented those assets with a lovely composition. Beautiful Marietha ... now hurry and get those destructive little pests off them before they are ruined. :o)
Beautiful capture, Marietha. That purple is a beautiful shade. The arrangment of the blooms is pleasing and the veins in the leaves are awesome. Lovely work.

These blossoms are new to me, but they are quite pretty ad the color is lovely. Yes, they must taste good too to those little black ants. The framing is a nice complement.
And no, I sincerely do not mean to come across as trite.
It really is pretty. :o)
I just entered your gallery through my friend's list notification (you were first) ... and literally, immediately ... the word spoke to me from your image presented here.
Technically, an excellent composition as echoed above by the previous commentators. I particularly enjoy that you have made good use of the naturally occurring lines in the branch structures to balance out your composition and consequently serve as a fantastic visual guide for the eye.
Good detail and clarity ... and not for a minute would I want you to disturb those ants. (Next time, perhaps ... catch them when they are on a break and hanging around the water cooler instead of being hard at work. :oP)
I love purple flowers and you have done a fine job of capturing these beauties, in terms of lighting, clarity, and all round presentation...well done.:Pat.
Spring and autumn, a half year difference. Incomprehensibility actual, we live on a earth and then this way a difference. Beautiful photograph, I see even ants to run in of flowers.
