What a wonderful image. The background of neutral colored soft grass is just perfect in this portrait of an ... (to use your words) ... "elegant animal". Composed ideally and Mom will be happy to know she DID get a "jumper" because this pretty Springbok has just "jumped" into my favorites. Many Thanks to both of you.

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.

Don't want to butt heads with this guy either Marietha. The post is magnificently clear and so well composed. You both did a grand job with this one. A keeper for sure.

Oh okay, now I'm getting it. This whole safari was underwritten by a big nature magazine (which I won't mention by name), right? Had to have been. Each photo is magazine quality and I'm on to you now...lol..joking only about the magazine, not the quality. Yes, he sprang into my faves too. Excellent work, and no I am not getting tired of this whole journey in the least. I look forward to each of your posts :)PJ

What a wicked Mom. Er, Well, I mean with a camera. I still say you oughta sign her up. Is she into photography as a hobby or just where did she acquire her skill? Tell Mom I said Hi and I am still droolling over her captures.

Marvellous capture and with the background color so similar to the hide of this animal those impressive horns really cut through the image in striking fashion...another super job by your mother...p.s. I'll pass on the game of rugby, lol.:Pat.
