With our last visit to the Kruger National Park we were lucky to get this shot of 2 of the Big Five at once. The rhino actually came walking down the road when we approached, and as there was no turning around, I stopped to see what Rhino was planning on doing. It was late afternoon, and madam made herself at home right in the road with no way for us to pass without being in danger. Next moment Mr Ellie came walking out of the bushes, first heading towards us, but then decided to turn away a little bit and pass right infront of our car. Lucky for us both were very relaxed, as there was no way I could turn around or reverse, as during the time we wait for Rhino to decide what to do, 5 other cars stopped behind us :) we were standing there for about 45 minutes, then had to turn around and go back to camp. We just made it in time before the gates were closed for the night.. what a wonderful experience this was and so happy I can share it with you .
