I'm afraid I prefered the overall colour scheme of the original, but I really think the addition of the stars works well here - enough to add interest without overwhelming the design. Overall, I think this is a very significant improvement over the original - good job!

The star field really makes this seem like you're going through some kind of space warp. Though I liked your other palette a bit better, I think the star field really makes this shine. I really like this version better than your first. Nicely nicely done !

Love this one more. The starfield is good... The gradients ai liked both, but I'd like most rainbow, just like in the movie. btw, love both the book and the movie. Glad I'm not the only freak in the world! :)

With the addition of the starfield, I agree that it makes for a more interesting image, however, I liked the gradient on the first one better. LOL, can't please everyone all the time. Well done, Russell!
