This my friend is stunning! I'm really impressed over this edit. I think less is more in this case. Very nice touch indeed. I especially like it since I think I got a slight overexposure that you effectevly took away. It's very good too that you didn't make the whole thing black. This must have taken a while to do. Don't tell me it was five minutes... ^_^ Then I'll get really depressed. It swould take me several hours to get this rigth if i put my head to it. o_O

Thanks... ^_^ Some day maybe. For now it's Avi's show. This photo is much better in this edit than in the original. I love how he makes my shots part of his own point of view, with what he says "taint of darkness". I've been too busy lately to upload shots of my own. I enjoy the other end of this sweet deal. I get Avi's nice shots to derange with my own madness. lol! I don't have more time can I get some others spare time maybe. The only thing left for me to do in order to get more things done is to sleep even less. ^_^ Hehe. No, seriously. I got to get some sleep. Catch you guys later. :)
its not just my show.....Klas, u r part of it all too : )...u r too kind with ur words. I wasnt too sure if u'd like this but I'm very glad that u do. & thanx to all the others for their support. & i kinda agree with Beowulf, i'm suprised that u hadnt uploaded the original to this...i thought it was pretty sweet. :)...but then u take a lot of pretty stunning shots. hee hee
I cant remember how long I spent on this pic....maybe about 2 hours toying with the idea, but the inspiration comes from having a good picture to work on.
Thank you Avi, maybe I should post it some day. :) I think the overexposed areas in the original shot are too bright for it to be a good photo. I feel that it needs a retouch that I yet havn't been able to do in an easy way. I'll look into it. It should be pretty easy to fix reallybut I don't want to lose the nice colors and contrast on the way.
i take it u r refering to the right side of the chestnut shell....i recently discovered the burn tool in ps & i tried it ...it seem to work for most of the bright areas. give it a go see if u have any luck with it : )
This collaboration continues to evolve. :)
