just a quick one of a lamp i've been meaning to photograph for ages. the pic is a bit grainy due to the low light condition. but i'm happy with it. hope u like. any suggestions/comments welcome :~)
This is WOW. I personally like taking shots of light objects using long exposures. You have done a nice job and the grain does not effect the quality of the shot. The real beauty is the light on the wall which creates a "butterfly effect".
Great shot! Interesting subject and spot on composition. With your editing skills you could easily mask out that lamp and blur the rest slightly. On the other hand it could look too CG then...
It’s a beaut wallpaper. I think it would look even more striking if the red light were emanating from the lamp. The grain is not a problem to me, I have been known to add grain for the character it imparts :-) I like the feeling of warmth and cosiness this one radiates.
It's beautiful. I am happy you finally shot that lamp.
B.t.w. the grain will be less when you can fix the ISO to a low number, say 100. You will then need an even longer exposure, but that should not be a problem if you can steady you camera properly.
I'd love to have that thing! I'm nuts about light patterns on my walls. I'll settle for a shot of it. Is it metal basket weaving? It makes a lovely night light for my desktop
