Been working on this slowly over a couple of days. I used a combination of 3 pics of mine and this, which i got from stock xchnge. My thanx go to Mei for modeling & being an amused subject. Let me know what u think :~)
THis an amassing render . I love the the soft feel with the added touch of mystery. the crack realy add to the image also along with the colors.great job. I really leaves you with a drawn feeling
The emotions, the tears, of wasted years, wash over me like a cold wave out of the north. I tremble and shake, with each breath i take, and there's no one around me that cares. Dwight.
Hi Avi. Nice to see another stunning work from you. This is truly eye catching starting from the thumbnail. You have done a heck of a job with the shades and the textured. Great work and high marks from me.
One word will pretty much nail it down: Fantastic! But it would seem a bit meagre, just to say that wouldn't it? ;) It's one of the best pieces I've seen in a long time, and I don't just mean best pieces from you. I love the mood and don't get me started on the textures and the colors... ^_^ I could go on and on. :P It made me think of "Event Horizon" in a way but it has a lot warmer and almost cozy feeling to it. (I mean it makes me think more of a friendly neighbour ghost peering out from a wall and not really another dimension of unthinkable evil and pain as in that movie... ^_^) My only complain is that I don't have a signed copy of it hanging on my wall. ;)
It really caught my attention in the new images gallery. Most outstanding work I saw this evening. With lot of expression buried deeply somewhere in the texture and in the shadowy holes of the eyes and mouth... So thought provoking.
Beautiful. Like the others, I was seduced by the rich colors and texture. Not to mention, the creative portrait. Why did you choose to make the eyes dark? I'm not complaining, mind you. The image is undeniably visually arresting, as is. I was just curious as to what was in your mind when you created it ... what you wanted to convey.
First of all i have to say thank you to all of u showing ur support with ur words. u r too kind. it gives me great pleasure & confidence upon reading ur responses. Its not just for me i do it for u.
: )
Lisa, in response to ur question. my girlfriend also asked me the same question. in fact she suggested i leave the eyes alone. however the reason behind my choice is that it introduces an element of ....disquiet. & i like that. : ) eerie or tainted images come quite easy to me, my heads full of it. to make an image with such results whilst being pleasing to the eye gives me kicks. & i'd like to see more like it about. as for the feeling...i simply dont know, i will figure that out in a couple of days.
thanx again folks
Wow, you bumped yourself off my desktop. I'm loving these stained textures. It has more depth without the eyes than it would with them so great choice here.
very nice atmosphere on this and works well for a desktop. you can see that its really a big work done in this, so I give it a 10/10. I especially love the stained textures, the face is awesome too.
Amazing work which is directly added among my favourites. I love the texture, the colors, the rendering ... everything !! This work is just awesome !! Thanks for sharing it ! :)
All of the above including "in my favorites" You should copyright and sell it. I am curious as to what it would look like with the eyes though. Maybe a darkened version of Eliabeth Taylor's eyes, They're violet, it would be odd with the reds I think. I'm impressed.
I thought I'd commented already but just checked and I havent...
I've had this in my favourites for ages and revisited it. Just to let you know, made an impact on EVERYONE who saw it on my desktop - the most common comment was "very disturbing" :)
