This is a very pretty and serene image. I think it would have had real punch if you crop the left to the trunk of the tree and the bottom to cut out the fence. The sky is a lovely azure, colors are natural, focus is good and the distant lighthouse draws the eye and adds a punch of color. If you cropped as I suggested, it would create a sort of path from tree to lighthouse to the other distant palm on the right, giving the eyes a "road to travel" so to speak. anne :-)

There are tons of websites for uploading snapshots - photos of your neice, back yard, etc. "Caedes Man" did not start this website for that purpose. His intent was to offer a venue for folks to share artistic images that could be used as desktop backgrounds. Does anyone really want an out of focus shot of a dog for a desktop background? probably not. Let's share the good stuff and help others by telling them what's good or how to improve an image. We could all make Caedes a great site for everyone and use those other places for the snapshot sharing. A first rate family snap sharing website is www.easysite.com. Colocolor gives a lot of good suggestions. At the very least, I would crop out the fence. Nice colors and the focus is good.

I love lighthouses, so I faved this one. I like the palm tree and the fence in the foreground. Very good shot.
