Granted this is not the most attractive pose of a Swan ... But this Swan just learned a shocking lesson ... When swimming with Geese always mind your tail because the singular of Geese is not just a NOUN but also a VERB! ... Oh! the indignity of it all :o)

:0 oh my the poor swan has been ............by geese ;) It's a great capture John and surely brings a smile. The clarity is amazing and the water so calm with itty bitty movement is stunning. You've truly outdone here and it's a keeper for sure. So glad you shared this.

I shouldn't laugh at him; we've all been goosed at least a few times!! But, I must admit, the inner devil in me finds the story amusing. Swan should have ducked! :)) You did a great job on this, John. Don't tell him his error is now plastered all over the net! :))

Muggsy, that is a marvelous capture of the liquidity of water. I like the goose also. The pose is cute. He definitly seems to think something has happened to his rear end. Funny. Really nice work. I'm serious.

Oh my goodness- to be goosed by geese - probably not a pretty sight LOL. I guess he's checking to make sure everything is still "intact". Poor baby. Very funny capture John. Glad you shared.

When geese go bad... Goosing a swan is probably a running joke among geese. Bet they even get a tattoo to commemorate such things, much like bikers do. I can just hear the guilty flock now, honkin' it up over a beer and a pack of smokes, "Bob goosed a swan last night, bwahaha!" Oh, the indignity of it all!

Great capture of an elegant swan in a bit of a tither. Nice presentation and softness about the whole image, which preserves your swan's dignity. Very well done :o)
