Just after a brief shower I was fortunate in catching this Junco sequined with droplets. A little bit of "Luck" never hurts in photography, I'm sure most would agree.:)

Not luck, skill. This is a great capture of one of my favorite birdies, they have not shown up yet here, but when they do, I hope I can capture one as good as this. Great work John. Faved.
Wow Muggsy, that is really goooooood. "Junco sequined with droplets..."? Who are we trying to kid? Your sounding so refined and I know better, country boy. Sheesh! (His mind is melting).
Great capture of the bird.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Hello John....The lighting and exposure are superb ... ... both the in focus and out of focus sections of this picture are brilliant.... the play of light on the bird shows off the excellent detail.... One of the better things about this image is that it bears looking at over and over ... not just a big splash or wonderful detail that once catches the eye, but a treat to be appreciated many time in many ways.....Well done John....All the best...Mick.
