He does look a bit stunned after that downpour (so do I, having just returned home after a nightmarish drive in heavy rain on the Autobahn :) Lovely shot, John.

Good one John, that is your avatar sitting on the branch all wet. Great color and oh so focused, your bird photos get better and better with each post.

He needs a towel? Well, go get him one. I like him sitting among the fall leaves. Wish all of his tail would have made it into the image and perhaps more of the bottom of the foreground. My eye keeps wanting to pull it down to reveal more. None the less, it's better than I could have done.

Hello John...I have to say again how wonderful your birdie photos are! I have just become familiar with them and I really love them. Look at the beautiful background colours here!~ The nature is all around! And that little Jay is sitting there all prim and pretty! Hiding and yet you found him! I loved your last posting.."You Again?"..lol....and this is one is so lovely too! And the tiny droplets make the whole thing come alive even more. It makes me want to stroke his little feathers..I've always loved birds and wish I could do paintings of them, but just can't seem to do it. You have a true talent to be really proud of!!.. and I now will make a folder with your birdies..thank you ever so much!! Verena
