Yep! different series same River. This was 20 miles north of where i originally started the Down by the River series. This is the long trail to the River through the Forest. Enjoy From a mere concept in 1935, Florida's state park system has expanded to one of the largest and most heavily used systems in the country. Containing over 600,000 acres in more than 157 separate units, with an annual operating budget in excess of $70 million, the state park system today represents a major commitment by the State of Florida to the preservation of its scenic resources and provision of outstanding recreation opportunities for its people.

Would like to see what all you come across on this trail - like the river inhabitants creeping up! Nice play of light and shade here Ed.

I like the dappled light & shadow play on the path as it is what drew me into this scene. Now I wonder where it leads to. A wonderfully composed capture Ed.

I agree that it is beautiful Huck and would make a nice entry in the Shadows Contest. Such a good place to take a walk. Don't step on anything that moves. Good post.
