The sound of silence and not a bird in sight. This pond is usually full of bird activity. It only took a few minutes to realize that the storm from hell was upon us. I took this shot and made a run for the old pickup truck.

Wonderful B & W, Ed ... birds are usually the first to sense an approaching storm even if it's sunny outdoors. I do like the calmness to this scene. Glad you made it to your truck safely. Well done.

Nature's warning of a storm! The animals even sensed the tsunami on the coast of Thailand before the humans did. They ran inland well in advance. Nice shot of the deserted pond.
