One of the walkways they built to keep the Tourists from stepping on the snakes and gators. I kinda like them because now I can keep my feet dry. Ah! new signs

That's a warning for alligators? They don't ride bikes down there, do they? And they probably eat dogs. LOL. Excellent color and lighting on this boardwalk shot, Ed. Very nice.

There once was a tourist who walked here after sundown ..... He had no dog to warn him nor did he have a bike to speed up! Nice shot Ed with the sunlight playing tricks with the vegetation.

Oh no, no, no. I'm not going there! I almost stepped on a snake at the sanctuary and freaked! You think I'd survive seeing a gator? lol Lots of cool shade in there though and you captured it well. The scene is frightening to me because of the sign. I don't think I'd have ever seen one elsewhere.

The gator probably doesn't mind the no bikes sign, but he is probably upset about losing his snacks. I heard his favorite was a wiener dog. Ahhh, I can just see the gators around the old campfire roasting wiener dogs. Good luck in the contest Huck. Good post

Glad they have a warning sign though I wouldn't feel too threatened if I spotted a gator at a reasonable distance ... it's nice to know in advance they are present. I like the light play in this scene ... wonderful capture Ed.

Looks like a fabulous place for a walk and to watch out for the gators, I sure can see why they don't want dogs it could be their dinner.

Fabulous capture with such rich colour and depth.
