Great photo. I'm new at this as well, so I can't be critical here as I have not developed my skills enough in this, but it looks like you're on the right track here! Great shot and good luck in your future here at Caedes. It's a great site!

Welcome - and good first post. The thing that grabs me is the contrast between the natural and soft texture of the grass and the thick steel structure of the bridge. Some photos do not need editing - and perhaps this is one. However a good start would be to perhaps gently increase the contrast - bring out the yellows and oranges of the sky and the reeds. Hi Mark...you picked an extremely pleasant spot to photograph! It seems to be a bit blurry. This might be due to low light and / or camera shake. I like the soft glow of the water in the background. You might be able to lighten this and sharpen it in any image editing program that you have on your computer. Photoshop would work also! Keep snapping those photo's. We are all here to learn.
