The first meeting of our tame squirrel, "Mama" and our toy squirrel. Mama is not tame to the point where we can hold her, but she is tame enough to take food from our hands and come inside of the back door to get her own nuts out of the nut bucket. :) ....Sadly Mama just passed away. However, her babies and mate still live in the house that we built for them in our large pine tree.

This one caught my eye; nice photo. We "adopted" a squirrel that fell out of a nest into our yard a few years ago. We named him Rocky, then found out he was a she. Thus, Roxie. LOL It worked for us. :-)

Aw! That's so cute, squirrels are my favorite animal easily. Do you know what kind it is, it's a lot different color that the squirrels around where I live. Oh and not to forget... very good shot ;)

A couple years ago, while taking my kids to play at a park here in Fresno, we found a late season baby. Because people had touched it, it's mom wouldn't accept it, so we took it home and fed it.We named it Nutter-butter. Sadly, she became ill and passed away after a few months. It was an amazing little thing, very sweet and loving. Funny how these cute little creatures can so easily capture our love. I'm sorry mama died, but I'm happy to hear that her family has chosen to stay with you. This is a really beautiful and clear shot, and I agree, it would make a great card for the holidays!!! 10/10
