He actually did jump on my lens. (he is harmless though) They try really hard to intimidate you when you get close. I haven't looked him up yet to see what he is. I do know he is a cannibal and eats other spiders...

I guess it's OK to eat other spiders, as long as they aren't family members. LOL. It's a hairy little critter, isn't it? Very nice shot, Nessa.

I LOVE jumping spiders!!!!! They are cool little guys! What an incrdible close up! I know what you mean about jumping on your lens.. I have some shots like that.. hmmm.. maybe I need to dig them up and put them on here. You did such a great job of showing every hair on it!
