Grand Canyon eh? This is a beautiful picture, it looks like another
realm... perhaps Avalon... :)

Well it's definitely not Avalon but I see what your thinking here.

Thanks Alex! :-)

This is great. The thumbnail doesn't do it justice. Until I got to this page, I had no idea there was anything but clouds in the background.

It's too bad there are people in this shot, but you can't chose where a rainbow will appear. Very nice work.

It is quite a pretty photo, lovely capture. For me, there is too much distinction between the foreground and the background. I guess I think it takes away from the photo; from the beauty in the background. But still quite a shot!

Wet and dreary makes for superb photographic oppurchancities! I have no choice but to say that I'm from Scotland.
Superb shot, good to see weather in other countries also!

An absolutely fascinating shot. I love how the mountain in the background seems to cut off the middle of the rainbow. I personally like seeing the people at the left of the shot. It gives the idea that you're seeing more than they are.

Hello Nigel.....Bad weather doesn't mean bad pictures. It just changes your options and sets the stage for some unique photographic opportunities Rainbow photos are especially striking with other dominant objects in the frame, such as the natural feature you have captured to the left of the picture....Well done....All the best....Mick.

Wet and dreary it may have been, but you saw and captured the rainbow. Nice!
