Nice shot.. that tree looks really cool and there is a nice variety of colours scattered throughout the picture. That rock sounds interesting, i wonder why that rock in particular is so old and why it has survived so long without being worn away. I know that some ections of Western Australia are said to be the oldest regions of the earth geologically but i don't know how they figure it out either!

This scene reminds me of my family cabin up in Parry Sound Ontario, I love it there. Thank you for sharing.
