I've seen some wonderful posts of London recently and it's made me realise that, as a Londoner, I should pay more attention to what's on my doorstep. So I got up for the dawn this morning and here's what I saw from the Millennium Bridge. Apologies for the echoes of my earlier 'Three Bridges' picture, but the sunrise this morning was so spectacular that I hope it bears repetition.

Wow, this blows me away! Except for a slight straightening of the horizontal lines, this is perfection. Thanks for getting up so early, this goes straight to my HD!

Great view Nigel. Where are the party animals? Quiet night in the old pubs? Great coloring. Yes it's amazing how much beauty is on our doorstep. Why only this morning someone left a little wee (oh never mind). Actually it was a bottle of Raspberry Ripple. I love how the arches and their reflections looks like a pair of sun glasses to help you greet the morn. You did good on this one.

This is a well thought out and super shot! You deserve the first 5/10 for getting up at dawn and another 5/10 for the shot and that makes 10/10! Great composition. Love the reflections of the bridge.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Ahh!...Finally.... I get to criticise one of your shots at last...That criticism? It wasn't ME who took this shot!!! LOL

Nigel this is pure perfection, Tower Bridge in the middle, the reflections on the water, the warm glow of the sun....brilliant!

Very Real, if that makes sense, in another words, without the glamour of a commercial shot. Not derogatorily meant at all, the color is awesome!
