This looks like a perfect place for life, as we know it, to leave the sea and enter Eden. What a WOW capture you have here, Nigel! All of the shades of green and red perform so well on this stage. Everything is so very well done!
"Where there is perhaps a province in which the photograph can tell us nothing more than what we see with our own eyes, there is another in which it proves to us how little our eyes permit us to see." ~Dorothea Lange
I just saw this in voting booth & said WOW ~ 'cause I'm always drawn to silhouettes. I just love the warmth & serenity coming from this tropical scene. Outstanding capture Nigel ~ high marks. A keeper for sure ~ love it.
From someone who has gotten very blase from the over abundance of sunrise/sunset photos, this one soars above the rest. One of the things I like best is the angle created from edge of the lake and the two trees. It seems to visually carry you across the water. Color is superb, too. Well done, Nigel!

And I bet my left hand, a tiger was watching you, in the dark, his claws ready to tear that european flesh he was spoken about and had never tasted before.
The thing is you left before he caught ya. You were darn' lucky this time.
Except this tiger knows what he wants: he bought himslef a plane ticket to England. you hear that bell ? Yeah it's the tiger knocking at your door...
Best one since your return from the Land of Enchantment. I love the sky, reflections, silhouettes and the sign of small splash in water. I visualize a small fish checking his high jump. Put up a "No Cows" sign so they won't wonder in there. It's no place for them. Excellento Sir Nigel.
What a stunner you have here Nigel. The central band of silhouettes with colour above and below, and those thick dark verticals, add up to a wonderful composition and an atmospheric palette. Excellent stuff.
I much appreciate all the comments I receive about my images, but please excuse me if I don't always reply. My interest in Caedes is exceeding my time available!
