I imagined myself walking down one of those beautiful paths that Patti is always showing us and this is what I found at the end. Belated happy birthday for last week Fogz!

Lovely colour and detail, Nigel. Mine's a pint of bitter, please and I'll forgive the sign writer for missing the apostrophe out of the pub's name.

I was amazed in how the people seemed invisable when I first started looking at the picture and then, slowly, one-by-one, they seemed to just appear.

What a great photo! The colors are beautiful, the composition is great, the detail is fantastic, and how much did you pay that guy to pose that way? What a perfect mood setter for this image too!

No good standing 'There' Nigel!!

She will be inside somewhere else supping all the ale, and making sure it's not her 'turn'!!!!

She owes me a few 'rounds'...

Bit tight with the purse-strings!..you know!

By the way...Nice Bar!!

I hope you went in and had a sip or two...that poor guy looks like he's bored to tears. Great shot of a very atmospheric place...and I'll sign this belated birthday card to Patti for sure :)

That's a dandy pub. Love the rich colors and polished brass. Make's me a pint low just looking at it. Dynamite capture.

Just a great looking Pub, Sir Nigel. Is this similar to a chain, franchise type thing. I noticed the #49. Great looking place and set up the drinks. Owd Timer is buying. Love all the brass. Patti should love it. Happy Birthday again Patti. Let's all drink to that.

oh now Nigel this is just up my street - and you will know what I mean by that! lol! thank you for the belated birthday greetings - now let's get into the bar and have a few! lol! ...ps and don't listen to that Bob - he is just trying to confuse you - I reckon he owes me at least 5 pints, 4 bottles of wine and a couple of scotches! ;)

...and about the photograph - well it is an excellent shot, love the subject and I especially like the young man lost in thought - it's like watching a film and wondering what is going to happen next! :)

Hi Nigel, I like this because to me this shot is inspiring. I would never have thought of taking a shot like this, and particularly in this light. I assume a tripod was used? A great picture my friend, just one question...who's buying???? lol

Not your usual shot, but so well done. The clarity and comp is outstanding! I hope whoever that fella was waiting for showed up. Failing that, you stood him a pint for being the perfect model. Now I just need to figure how to crop this for my non-wide screen.

I was reading the menu board, and now I am hungry...and thirsty. Excellent picture, Nigel. I would love to stop there for something to eat and drink. Looks inviting. I love the lighting you have captured here, along with that guy looking like he is about ready to fall asleep. Very nice.

I like that guy's expression on the left: "what am I doin' rite here? I am so bored that my Yawns are yawning!"

You did a master capture of that Pub/Restaurant frame: it's also divided in 4 part thanks to the green bars
