This is the Midland Hotel at St Pancras Station in London. It has been empty and derelict since the 1970s but is now being renovated as the centrepiece of the new St Pancras station, which has just become the Eurostar terminal for high-speed trains from France and Belgium. It's a magnificent building, which might remind you of the Houses of Parliament. It's by Gilbert Scott who designed several buildings for Whitehall, and the story is that he designed this one for there too but it wasn't accepted so they built it at King's Cross.
