Awh! I gave this a 10 in the VB. I just love it! Not just for its subject (though he is to die for!), but also, when looking at the composition it is excellent. Top notch! Defiantly faving it :)

Love it...reminds me of being a kid and look for all the sand piles and water puddles....it's great to be free!

They certainly do have a silky coat. Wonderful texture contrasts with the sand and their fur. Did you and Jan use telephoto lenses or were you able to move in pretty close? Love the vulnerable pose you caught.

The seals here in ORegon at the Pacific are soooooo mean, I wonder if they are nicer over there? This one looks pretty charming. And he's even entertaining you. I love this look. Thanx so much Nigel. Verena(you'll have to come to ORegon to see these guys here, but they are very elusive.)
