Another one from the top of Mt Snowdon. Which do you prefer - this one with people, or the previous one without? Tech Talk Samsung GX-10, Sigma EX DC 10 - 20 mm lens at 10 mm, f13, s1/250, ISO 100.
Both this and your other Snowden image are very good "mountainscapes" but if I have to plump for one I would say this one with the people. I find the people give a sense of scale and the view is spectacular.
I think I may have liked this one better if the people were not in it. If the scene could have portrayed itself in its pristine and natural condition you would have had, IMHO, a shot of what only God could have created untouched by man.
This Image GRABBED my EYE. That's Why I Stopped By.

What a view. It reminds me of being on top of Pike's Peak. (I drove to the summit, though. LOL.) Excellent shot, Nigel. As far as preference for a desk top wallpaper...I'd rather there not be any people, but the picture is still a stunner.
I actually prefer the view on this one (and the other one was good enough!) Have to agree with Bob tho about people not being in landscapes. That said, I DO though like the sense of perspective the people give this shot, so can I now sit on the fence on this one???
The scene is great on this one Sir Nigel. Both are great shots. This one doesn't have any soft spots at all. Good work. I am surprised you could even hold up the camera let alone get such great shots after that climb.
Boy at least the people sure show you how high you really are. That's a beautiful lake way down there. I think you have capture 2 fabulous shots. This way we get see a more of the scenery, I like the scenery from the other one better.
What a view! I personally prefer without, Nigel. Anything with ancient or old stuff is ok, but I will skip an image with people in it. That's just me. I do like this photo though! Superb panarama! Thank you! Allen
hmmmm now not that I don't like people, but I do prefer the other shot. If the people were looking out admiring the scenery then maybe it would have a point of them being in the picture, but love it anyway ....beautiful scenery and well worth climbing up there for.
