exquisite. the bridge, even though it's very long, has perfect detail. in the enlargement the lights on the other side are perfect. the lighting throughout is excellent.

And the Lord spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it."
Fantastic shot of the pier! Angle is perfect and like the light purple sky in the background. Nicely done. Don't mind seeing photos like these....but you did peak my curiousity about deer.
The star like lights really make this great Sir Nigel. The pier is well lit allowing my eyes to look it over. Over all scene is so perfectly balanced. A great shot and presentation.
Nigel this is just filled with magical feelings. The glow of the 'stars' on the lights is awesome. Romantic. Perfect. And then for you to capture such a golden reflection in the water, that just makes it twice as nice! The structure itself has so much design in it, then to top the whole thing, seeing the lights far in the distance, just frames the whole thing. You are a wonderful pohotographer, and to be out early in the morning must have felt so good too. Nice stuff my friend.Verena
In my opinion youve saved the best for last! I agree, this is magical, well composed, and love the lighting! A great "Cherry On The Top" to your pier series.
The pier itself looks wonderful with its lights having been captured so well by you. Also, the angle you took this from creates a very good diagonal through the image. But the element that really transposes this image for me from good to great is the line of lights (Cardiff?) that define the horizon. If I was to be as picky as picky can be I would say that now I'm viewing images on my new HD monitor I can see some noise in the sky and water.
