Another group of mushrooms found at Epping Forest, this time growing in a nook inside a tree. I liked the way they looked like they were nestling in the warm, and the contrast between their golden glowing colour and the blackness of the bark.

First class work on this one pal...

So, I'm not the only one who crawls around on his knees eh!...

I don't like mushrooms, I am scared of them, but they are beautiful. Nice photo, you really made a good work.

Beautiful warmth in this one Nigel! Almost makes me feel like crawling in there with them. It also brings the concept of fae bean-bags to mind. Very pleasing work.

This make me think that they are a family snuggled in a cave to get out of the cold. Gorgeous lighting, and a very "pro" shot, again, Nigel.

I have seen some people get acquainted with the mushrooms and they get pretty happy and their glow is much like this photo.
Artsy, fartsy as they say. :)
A great study in light.

Once again,Nigel, you've showed your photography skills. How very beautiful this photo of the shrooms is! The light on them, wow, it's as tho they are in the dark and you shed light on them suddenly. You must have been literally laying down on that wonderful forest floor! I love looking at the "tiny things" too..the leaves and such. And your camera is of course the best. Wow, I mean talk about wicked good! Your photos are pure ecstasy. Verena
