It's been snowing here and I got out into Sussex yesterday to take some shots of the viaduct near Balcombe. I hope this finds you all well, and apologies for the lack of comments in recent weeks.
As always, a wonderful comp, Nigel. The row of tree trunks echoing the verticals of the viaduct. And the viaduct just drawing the eye to the back of the shot. Beautiful with a light coating of snow. Happy holidays!
This reminds a little of The Interurban Bridge near here. Your structure looks to be in better shape, though. I love the composition, and the colors in this, Nigel. Very nice snowy winter scene.
It is known that there is an infinite number of worlds, simply because there is an infinite amount of space for them to be in. However, not every one of them is inhabited. Therefore, there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near to nothing as makes no odds, so the average population of all the planets in the universe can be said to be zero. From this it follows that the population of the universe is also zero, and that any people you may meet from time to time are merely the product of a deranged imagination.
i love the composition of this one with the tree in the foreground and the viaduct disappearing into the shot. something a lil different composition wise imo. i like it.
Hello Nigel, what I really enjoy about your photo is the way you captured the sunlight on the tree, and therefore showing up the lovely snow laying so gently on that tree. W#hat a most wonderful Wintery landscape photo. I miss your photos.Verena
