An early morning photo of the Sawtooth Mountains (Stanley Basin, Idaho). The gold and pink light of early morning make the mountains glow.

Yet another great shot. The frame complements it nicely. Note to self stop posting at the same time as Nathan.

Thank you Mario, Morwyn, Don, and Jacqueline. This is such a beautiful place, but a very cold one, too. You can tell because the treeline is down on the flat. Snowed in by October, and still snowing often in May and June. I remember watching 4th of July fireworks in the snow in Stanley one year. Makes the quick summer, spring, and autumn even more special.

I like everything about this image Nathan. The pinkish cast to the morning light makes everyhting appear soft. The framing you did accentuates all of the beauty. I don't like what you said above re: the snow..YUCKY!! Snow on the 4th of July???!!?? I am from the Midwest....we have heat & humidity. Yucky too..lol
This makes a beautiful desktop. Thanks :))

A beautiful mountain shot with a glorious sky to complement the mountains. The border is quite elegant too.

There are three colours, Ten digits and seven notes, its what we do with them that’s important. Ruth Ross

This picture has great meaning for me as I have been to the Sawtooth Mountains many times. Once right before a huge fire came in and destroyed the land only to have it come back more glorious than ever. Excellent photo and framing. You truly are gifted with an artists eye!
