The color is that of a misty summer morning. Still playing with gemlike orbs - hope you aren't tiring of them. I wanted to "carve" designs into this one. You'll probably have to view it full size to see them. Can you tell I'm having fun? :) Have a great day.

Absolutely Stunning

NASA called me .. asked me if I felt I'd have any luck convincing you to create art in space as a means of testing whether a zero gravity environment could slow down your output of amazing art

I just shrugged my shoulders .. and said "dunno .. I'll ask"

It's beautiful, Nathan! What software are you using to "carve designs" into your gems? Very cool!

Thanks, Keith. If they get that shuttle working a little more safely, I'd jump at the chance. Tell them, sure I'll go. :)

Hi Wendy - it's photoshop. It's a black graphic on a transparent background, set to multiply mode, and the opacity dropped way down (25%). Then on top of that is the same graphic in another layer, white this time, put in overlay mode, and the opacity dropped way down to 25%. The white one is offset just a couple of pixels lower.

The embossed carvings are an amazing detail. Everything is shaded so well it's really 3d

This looks like a nice alternative to a panic button. Enjoying the pastels too.

Again attracted to the metallic pastels and simple shapes. You got a knack.

This looks great, stands out much more than most of the images in the abstract gallery, this caught my eye right away! The designs on the stone look great! Great job!
