Abstract->Fractal
A fractal-based photoshop painting I've been working on. This turned out so different from the original fractal I began with that you wouldn't recognize that it came from it. But I guess that's the fun part of playing with fractals for me - to see where I can take an idea. Hope you're having a great day.

Nicely done! This reminds me of a moth for some reason....nice colors also..what program do you use to make those fractals? Great job!

I used Tierazon for the background fractals, Chaoscope for the lacy wing work, and photoshop for everything else. Thanks.

Those beautiful diaphanous wings do look like a butterfly but also very angelic looking and coupled with the colors and design, it's indeed quite heavenly...gorgeous work, Nathan.:Pat.

FEAR is a darkroom where negatives develop.
It reminds me of an angel, bending backwards & gazing up into the light of Heaven. Isn't there a classical painting like that ? Gorgeous work Nathan & the framing is the perfect touch.

Just awesome! I love the wing structures you have created, and they are so nicely set on the background fractal. I like how the center background is lighter than the outer and lower background, as if the wings carry their own glowing light with them. It also gives the image a feeling of depth, like the wings are coming towards you bring light out of the darkness.

It looks like a butterfly to me. That's what so beautiful about your images though, everyone can see what they want. Then the image can take on different meanings for everyone. Love this one!
