Oh my Nathan, this looks like a combination of fire opals and royal blue sapphire gems! The design in the center is intriguing. It reminds me more of a dragonfly than a butterfly! Many thanks, everyone. I've enjoyed your comments! I did have a beautiful day, too, partly because of all your kind words. I spent the day with my family canoeing through the marshlands. All the migratory birds are resting on their way up north. Hundreds of Canadian Geese, cranes, pelicans, ducks, etc. It was quite a sight.

This background is sheer perfection! I love butterflies, the color purple, jewels and stained glass... and here you've compiled all of those elements in one overwhelming picture that makes me feel euphoric when I look at it. In fact, I can't stop looking at it. It is probably the most beautiful graphic image I have ever seen. Thank you for this!

Just realising that even though I've the impression you are churning out images on a very regular, frequent basis, there are many, many more I've never even peeked at. Life is sadly too limited to enable me to comment on all, but I realise that doing so is really sending coals to Newcastle.

The butterfly in this is simply gorgeous, as are the pieces of glass with the purpley space scene contrasting with the pastel, shell-like sections. I'm personally not wild about the blue jewels or the gold, but that doesn't stop me recognising that they are wonderfully done!
