I haven't played with Chaoscope too much for a while, mostly because it's Windows freeware, and I use a Macintosh. However, I bought an Intel Macbook laptop recently, and loaded Windows XP Professional in a partition. Works great. Now I can do my Photoshop on the Mac side of the fence, and play with all the PC free fractal programs - all on the same computer. The duo core processor really rips through Apophysis flames, too. :) I'm going to have fun! Hope you enjoy the image. I took several Chaoscope flames and blended them together.

Beautiful butterfly. Since it is from you, it goes without saying it is one of the best butterfly fractals I've seen. It reminds me of delicate crystal jewellery or maybe an ornament - a crystal, butterfly pendant, perhaps.
I didn't know you were a Mac user. What did you use to create fractals before getting an Intel? There's loads of advice on programmes on this site, but I find lots of them are PC only and I've got a PPC.

I'm impressed. I myself have the macbook pro with XP partition and macdrive. I have yet to tap into the full potential. But I am going to try it now. Thanks for the inspiration.
