I was wondering about version one, too!
I really like the jewels in this - they look like planets to me, which seems appropriate to the theme. The rest isn't really to my taste, but it is very well done. Just far too orderly!

Simple, superb, and elegant, this is a wonderful piece. The colors and jewels are wonderful, with a brilliant gradient. I agree with margali, the jewels look like planets. I'm not a green person, but this is fabulous.
