Another excellent piece of art from your computer to my eyes NAthanI, too like the ovals as well as the color scheme that you used. The embossed look is quite classy and adds a richness to this already rich piece of art. Once again, thanks again for sharing your talent with us! Have fun immersing yourself with those colors!! ;=)
Fantastic background - beautiful colours and wonderful sense of spiralling depths. There's something visually strange about this - though not necessarily in a bad way - in that the metalwork seems to be laid on top of the background or, rather, suspended above it, yet the background also seems to pop out and darken to form the jewels which are raised above that upper layer. Intriguing. Would like, as always, to see just the background, too...
The metalwork is interesting because parts of it look less like gold than others (I like the former best).
This has a curiously old-fashioned feel to it that I'm not sure I exactly like but which is certainly interesting. It makes me think of those overly fussy carved soaps some people used to put out for guests, rooms cluttered with knick-knacks and Victorian inhibitions.
Sorry. I don't mean this isn't an excellent image - of course it is (could you do anything less). I'm just puzzled by the sense I get from it and it isn't easy to put into words.
I do really like the background, though, and the whole thing is flawlessly done - whether I like it or not is a matter of taste and beside the point.
Putting your pictures in my favorites is the highest honor I can give you. If I do not get to your pictures as soon as you post them, I apologize. I try. Also if I do not respond for awhile it doesn't mean I'm ignoring you, it just means I'm really tied up with life.
Always remember - Follow the Yellow Brick Road, it will lead you to the Emerald City and OZ A very nice place to repose. Trust me on this one, I live there ............The Lion...................... MY GALLERY - The Magical Mystery Tour
Beautiful fractal. I agree with the comments of this fractal giving a feeling of antique or perhaps a family airloom, yet your skills in fractal design pushed the edge of the envelope in creativity. Nice work.
