Ah, found it! I like both versions, but I think I like the second better - it feels freer, wilder somehow. I guess the shape in the second seems to be more part of the image rather than separate from it, if that makes any sense at all. Both are fabulous colour- and light-wise, though.

Hi Nathan, been out of the loop for a while- health issues. I just discovered this. I don't need to tell you I love it, because you know I am one of your biggest fans. So instead, I had to comment that it reminds me of a Journey album cover...and I love Journey (they SO rock, much like this fractal!).
