Gorgeous background and a lovely, intense - almost living - jewel (it looks as though it contains a flame...). I even like the thin gold lines outlining the "petals" of the flower in this one. Maybe because the gold blends in with the colour scheme here. The part I'm definitely not so keen on is the more elaborate goldwork around the "flower's centre" - i.e. around the jewel - as it is a bit fussy for my tastes. Still, very beautiful overall even if I would especially like to see the background alone! That suggests wild, summery gardens - maybe a (the?) secret - garden...

I am late getting here but so glad I did not miss this -that combination of colours really lifts the heart. Just a little bit of mystery but friendly enough to want to look deep into this picture. fresh and lovely.
